Player of the Weekend
Taj Horowitz (Brookline) – Taj had an awesome weekend for ASA 5th Excel. Each games leading scorer, and defensive stalwart. He guarded the opposing teams’ best player all 3 games, and was able to be very efficient from the free throw line, something he has worked hard to improve on all season. Taj is aggressive on the fast break, and manages to make a fair amount of and-1 layups on his way to the FT line. Taj is a very hard worker and it’s no surprise on this nomination for player of the week.
