ASA 7th Black Player of the Week goes to Benson Lu. Over the weekend Benson stepped up not only as a Point Guard, but a true Floor General. With his ability to lead others, Benson was able to make proper offensive reads to put his teammates in  place for scoring opportunities. By recognizing defensive changes from other teams on the fly he was able to communicate with those around to lead a successful scoring weekend that included ASA 7th Black posting Season High Scores of 71 Points, 76 Points, and 62 Point games. On the Defensive side of the ball Benson sparked ASAs Press attack on Sunday afternoon against a much bigger Mass Elite Team. His defensive intensity brought life back into a team that started out slow and quickly found itself in a 12 point deficit early in the game. With his ability to see the floor, quick rotation, and communication skills Lu would lead the attack to advance his ASA Black Team to the Championship Game, where they would take care of business and be crowned D2 Champions of the Boston Warriors Fall Wrap Up Tournament.
