Matthew embodies the perfect teammate. One of the more unselfish players to be around. He would rather assist an easier bucket then take a good shot of his own. This past weekend at Providence Jammiest, Matthew had a breakout tournament. Scoring 10+ in all three games, and leading the team defensively. Game 1, down 7 with 1 minute remaining, Matthew hit a clutch three and assisted on both baskets, one of them being the tying basket to force the game into OT. In game 3, Matthew lead the way in points, rebounds, and steals, while playing a handful of positions. Put the skills aside, Matthew is one of the best teammates I have seen. He communicates, applauds and energizes the entire team all game long. He has a bright future.
